A couple of years ago I wrote in a note to my brother, trying to explain some life event or another, “It’s a fluid model, and this all fits.”
He mentioned this to a friend recently, who then got him this shirt from Mondonation:


Ken showed it to me tonight and it surprised me into tears.
I checked out their site after he left and as my Grandma would say, it’s pretty slick. My favourite part is refreshing the sample beliefs page when you’re making a shirt. The first set I got was:
i believe now more than ever before we need faith in humanity
i believe instant gratification takes too long
i believe that humanity can be salvaged
i believe humour is serious business
i believe in alternative and complementary therapies
i believe in rhythm
i believe i will stay clean
I particularly like the second to last one, but the title of this post was by far my favourite of all the ones I saw. I sincerely hope I see that person walking around one day. Hopefully it’s someone I know.
