Sometimes We Call Her Laddie
Okay, I’m doing a guest blog because if I have to see French Drinking Nights
ONE MORE TIME… well, it won’t be pretty.
Unfortunately, I have no new kid things to write about but if you look on the positive side, that might just keep their future lawsuits down a bit.
Also unfortunately, the North Vancouver School District, to which (whom?) I am applying, has decided to contract out their application process. To a company in Oregon, of course. After all, what could be more convenient than having a company in a foreign country handle all of your domestic applicant information?
Naturally, being the computer-savvy NON-Luddite that I am, I have only had to email their tech support three times today. And I still might have to start the entire process over again, INCLUDING getting my official transcripts from the IB program, the Surrey School District AND UBC (for
some reason I have lots of copies of my SFU one left and no copies of any of the other ones). Personally, I think it would be much easier to just drive to North Van and drop off an application at the actual school district office. But I know that’s just crazy talk.
